To complete construction of embankments reinforced by a double-layer steel sheet pile construction method without removing existing structures.SOLUTION: An embankment reinforcement structure is provided, which comprises a first steel sheet pile wall and a second steel sheet pile wall that are cast into river front and back sides, respectively, of an embankment body having a top and a slope and extend in the extension direction of the embankment body, and a hollow cross-section member that is buried under the top of the embankment body and erected between the first steel sheet pile wall and the second steel sheet pile wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
