EARTHQUAKE RESISTANCE REINFORCING METHOD OF TRADITIONAL WOODEN BUILDING
To improve earthquake resistance of a traditional wooden building while reducing the risk of impeding pedestrian traffic near a column base and reducing the risk of decreasing a cultural asset value of the traditional wooden building.SOLUTION: In an earthquake resistance reinforcing method of a traditional wooden building, an earthquake resistance reinforcing member B1 having a protruding portion B1a protruding in an extension direction of a horizontal member 4 that connects with an end of a column 2 is attached to the column 2 of the traditional wooden building, thus, a fulcrum position at the column 2 side relative to the horizontal member 4 is shifted outward in a tilt restoration direction of the column 2 from an outer periphery of the column 2 when the column 2 tilts in an extension direction to improve a tilt restoration force of the column 2. The horizontal member 4 is a cross member 4 that spans column heads 2A of neighboring columns 2. The earthquake resistance reinforcing member B1 is provided on the column heads 2A with the protruding portion B1a abutting a bottom of the horizontal member 4 from below.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】柱脚部付近での人の往来に支障を来す虞や、伝統木造建築物の文化財的価値を低下させる虞を低くしながら、伝統木造建築物の耐震性を向上させる。【解決手段】伝統木造建築物の柱2に、柱2の端部と取り合う水平材4の延在方向に張り出す張出部B1aを有する耐震補強部材B1を取り付けることにより、柱2の延在方向への傾斜時に、水平材4に対する柱2側の支点位置を柱2の外周よりも柱2の傾斜復元方向の外側に位置ずれさせて、柱2の傾斜復元力を向上させる伝統木造建築物の耐震補強方法において、水平材4は、隣り合う柱2の柱頭部2Aにわたる横架材4であり、耐震補強部材B1は、張出部B1aが横架材4の底部に下方から当接する状態で柱頭部2Aに備えられている。【選択図】図5
