To provide a determination method capable of performing inspection for maintaining and managing a building by simple means and the building.SOLUTION: The determination method for determining a state inside a wall of a building comprises: an acquisition step of acquiring an image of the surface of an inspection body pulled out of a hole after the inspection body having the surface changed in state through reaction with a substance in the wall is inserted and held in the hole formed in the wall to reach the inside of the wall; and a determination step of determining the state in the wall on the basis of the surface indicated by the image of the inspection body acquired in the acquisition step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】建物を維持及び管理するための点検を簡便な方法で実施できる判定方法及び建物を提供する。【解決手段】建物の壁内部の状態を判定する判定方法であって、壁内部の物質と反応して状態が変化する表面を有する検査体が、壁に形成されて壁内部に達する孔に差し込まれた状態で保持された後に、孔から抜き出された検査体の表面の画像を取得する取得工程と、取得工程で取得された検査体の画像が示す表面に基づいて、壁内部の状態を判定する判定工程とを有する。【選択図】図1
