To ensure a good working field of view from a cab and to prevent a cab from falling during ascending/descending.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel 1 comprises an ascending/descending cab 6. A support base 20 supporting the cab 6 is provided at a rear side of the cab 6. An ascending/descending mechanism 30 making the cab 6 ascend/descend is interposed between the cab 6 and the support base 20. Cab falling detection means 50 for detecting falling of the cab 6 and a brake 43 are provided in the ascending/descending mechanism 30. When the cab falling detection means 50 detects falling of the cab 6 while the cab 6 ascends/descends, the brake 43 is instantly applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
【課題】キャブの良好な作業視野を確保するとともに昇降中のキャブの落下を抑制する。【解決手段】昇降するキャブ６を備えた油圧ショベル１である。キャブ６の後側にキャブ６を支えるサポート台２０が設けられていて、キャブ６とサポート台２０との間にキャブ６を昇降させる昇降機構３０が介在している。昇降機構３０に、キャブ６の落下を検知するキャブ落下検知手段５０とブレーキ４３とが付設されていて、キャブ６の昇降中にキャブ落下検知手段５０がキャブ６の落下を検知した場合にブレーキ４３が即時に制動される。【選択図】図１０
