To provide a refurbishing fitting capable of further improving heat insulation performance of a new frame.SOLUTION: A refurbishing fitting has: an existing frame attached to an opening in a building framework; a new frame attached over four sides of the inner circumference of the existing frame; and a decorative cover that covers the interior side of at least one of top, bottom, left and right frame members forming the new frame. The new frame is placed to face the inner circumferential surface of the existing frame, and is fixed to the building framework on the interior side of the existing frame by means of a fixing member. A heat insulating material is provided inside the decorative cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
