To provide a connection structure of exterior material and a construction method of the exterior material at a connection part between a wall and a roof capable of securing waterproofness in a simple shape and improving workability more.SOLUTION: In a connection structure 1 of an exterior material, a roof exterior material 5 has a roof material engaging part 50 folded downward to an end part of a downstream side and formed in a hook shape, and has a roof material fixing part 51 fixed on an inclined roof substrate 4 and covered by an end part of the roof exterior material 5 adjacent to an upstream side and a roof material engaged part 52 engaged on the roof material fixing part 50 of the roof exterior material 5 adjacent to the upstream side at an end part of the upstream side. An upper end wall exterior material 7 has: an upper end fixing part 70 formed at an upper end part 63 and fixed on the inclined roof substrate 4 by abutting the inclined roof substrate 4; and an upper end engaged part 71 on which the roof material engaging part 50 of the roof exterior material 5 of the most downstream side is engaged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
