To provide a cutoff exterior wall structure which can suitably prevent water from entering to the indoor side from a gap part in a place where a beam projects to the outdoor side through an opening of an exterior wall panel, and a construction method for the same.SOLUTION: A cutoff exterior wall structure prevents water from entering to the indoor side from a gap part in a place where a beam 3 projects to the outdoor side through an opening 1a of an exterior wall panel 1, and includes four-peripheral opposite face parts F which are positioned so as to face the indoor face of the exterior wall panel 1, and are erected in a direction perpendicular to an extension direction of the beam 3 from the upper face part, the lower face part and both of the side face parts of the beam 3, and peripheral seal face parts G which are positioned on the outdoor side of the four-peripheral opposite face parts F, are received and supported by the four-peripheral opposite face parts F and performs cutoff between the indoor faces of the exterior wall panel 1 and the peripheral seal face parts G.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
