HYDRAULIC COMPOSITION AND CONCRETE STRUCTURE
To provide a hydraulic composition having excellent workability, capable of being easily installed without losing fluidity, even without adding a large amount of water, when a porous charcoal material having large water retention and adsorption properties, such as biochar, is included in a hydraulic composition, such as a concrete composition.SOLUTION: A hydraulic composition according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a carbon-containing compact, a hydraulic material, and a chemical admixture as a cement dispersant. The carbon-containing compact has an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal component. The carbon-containing compact is a substantially cylindrical pellet having a long diameter D and a height H. A ratio (H/D) of the height H to the long diameter D is 0.5 or more and 5 or less, and the long diameter D is 1 mm or more and 20 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
