To provide an insert for a hanger bolt that can easily prevent a movement after being attached to a plate.SOLUTION: An insert 1A for a hanger bolt is for attaching the hanger bolt to a deck plate 100, and comprises an outer member 2A that is inserted into a through hole 102 formed in the deck plate 100, and an inner member 3A that is inserted into the inside of the outer member 2A and has a female threaded part 311 to which the hanger bolt is connected. The outer member 2A has a pair of outer parts 21A configured separately from each other. The outer part 21A has a pair of clamping parts 211 that clamp a peripheral part 103 of the through hole 102 of the deck plate 100 from a Z direction, and an insertion part 212 that is inserted into the through hole 102 and through which the inner member 3A is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
