To provide a sediment hopper calculating system and a program capable of automatically calculating the amount of sediment loaded on the sediment hopper.SOLUTION: A sediment hopper calculating system is provided with: calculation means for calculating sediment information showing the loading state of a sediment hopper on which sediment discharged onto the ground from a work space through an earth bucket; and control means for controlling the open/close motion of a door hopper arranged on the sediment hopper based on the sediment information calculated by the calculation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
