To provide a sediment trapping fence requiring a small installation width while considering cost performance.SOLUTION: The sediment trapping fence to be installed in a mountain stream includes: multiple supports that are installed vertically or perpendicular to the installation ground; a beam member supported at the upstream side in the multiple support; and a diagonal member that is installed diagonally at the downstream side of the support and extends downward.
