COATING COMPOSITION FOR SURFACE PROTECTIVE LAYER FORMATION AND COATED BODY
To provide a coating composition capable of forming a surface protective layer which may achieve high level weathering resistance, and can protect design thereof for a long term, even when a design layer is formed of active energy ray-curable ink or a photocatalyst layer exists in an outermost layer.SOLUTION: There is provided a coating composition for surface protective layer formation configured so that: in a coated film formed on an aluminum plate, a chemical light emission amount in a specific condition is measured from a coated film which is exposed for a short term or promoted, and from a coated film which is continuously further exposed for a short term or promoted, and apparent activation energy acquired on the basis of the Arrhenius rule, on the basis of the chemical light emission amount of the coated film, is 35 kJ/mol or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】高いレベルの耐候性を実現し得る表面保護層であって、意匠層が活性エネルギー線硬化型インクである場合や最表層に光触媒層が存在する場合にも長期に亘ってその意匠を保護できる表面保護層を形成することが可能な塗料組成物を提供する。【解決手段】アルミ板上に形成された塗膜について、短期間暴露または促進した塗膜と、さらに継続して短期間暴露または促進した塗膜から特定条件下での化学発光量を測定し、これら塗膜の化学発光量からアレニウス則に基づき得られた見かけ上の活性化エネルギーが35kJ/mol以上となる表面保護層形成用塗料組成物である。【選択図】図1
