METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PURE ZIRCON CASTING BURNED PRODUCT, AND PURE ZIRCON CASTING BURNED PRODUCT
To provide a method for manufacturing a pure zircon casting burned product, capable of effectively preventing cracking that occurs during drying, and also capable of imparting a high load softening point, and to provide the pure zircon casting burned product, which has the high load softening point with the cracking prevented.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a pure zircon casted and burned product includes: a casting step of casting a zircon cast material mainly comprising zircon to obtain a zircon casting; and a firing step of firing the zircon casting to obtain a zircon casting burned product, wherein: 6.0 to 7.5 mass% of silica sol is added to the zircon casting material; the concentration of the silica sol is 30 mass% or more; the particle diameter of the silica contained in the silica sol is 40 nm or more; and the firing temperature in the firing step is 1,475 to 1,525°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】乾燥時に発生する割れを効果的に抑制できることに加えて、高い荷重軟化点を付与することができる純ジルコン質鋳込み焼成品の製造方法及び割れの発生が抑制された高い荷重軟化点を有する純ジルコン質鋳込み焼成品を提供する。【解決手段】ジルコンを主成分とするジルコン質鋳込み原料を鋳込んでジルコン質鋳込み品を得るための鋳込み工程と、ジルコン質鋳込み品を焼成してジルコン質鋳込み焼成品を得るための焼成工程と、を有し、ジルコン質鋳込み原料に6.0~7.5質量%のシリカゾルを添加し、当該シリカゾルの濃度を30質量%以上とし、当該シリカゾルに含まれるシリカの粒子径を40nm以上とし、焼成工程における焼成温度を1475~1525℃とすること、を特徴とする純ジルコン質鋳込み焼成品の製造方法。【選択図】なし
