To provide a ceiling material capable of easily improving the design of a ceiling and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: The ceiling material has a base material layer, a base coating layer provided on the base material layer, and a pattern layer provided on the base coating layer. The base material layer contains at least one inorganic material selected from the group consisting of gypsum, calcium silicate and rock wool, and the base coating layer contains a binder resin and white pigment, and the pattern layer is an inkjet printing layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
