INSTALLATION METHOD OF TENSILE BRACE VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE
To provide an installation method of a tensile brace vibration damping device capable of reducing a possibility that looseness occurs in a tensile brace when vibration is settled and a four-node link mechanism returns to an initial shape.SOLUTION: Provided is an installation method of a tensile brace vibration damping device to be installed in a rack frame, the tensile brace vibration damping device having four tensile braces and a vibration attenuation device, wherein the vibration attenuation device has: a four-node link mechanism having an upper link, a lower link, a right link, and a left link, and he tensile braces being connected to four joints, respectively; and a damper for connecting the upper link and the lower link to each other, wherein the vibration which deforms the four-node link mechanism from an initial shape is damped by a damper, each of the joints has a connection hole and a connection pin which passes through the connection hole, is connected to the tensile brace, and has a diameter smaller than that of the connection hole, and the tensile brace is installed by bringing the connection pin into contact with and pressing an edge portion of the connection hole so as to move the upper link and the lower link away from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
