To provide a manufacturing method of a rail covering structure which is excellent in the effect of preventing rail corrosion and is easy to operate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a rail covering structure 30, which includes a rail 10 and a covering layer 20 that covers a portion of the rail 10, in which the covering layer 20 includes a cured product of a fiber-reinforced prepreg that has a reinforcing member and curable resin, includes: an adhesive application process to apply an adhesive to a work surface of the rail 10; an attachment process to attach a prepreg sheet including the fiber-reinforced prepreg onto the adhesive before the adhesive applied to the construction surface cures; an adhesive curing process in which the adhesive cures after the attachment process; and a covering layer curing process in which the curable resin cures after the attachment process to form the covering layer 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
