To provide a soundproof device which can improve sound insulation performance while suppressing increase in cost.SOLUTION: A soundproof device 1 for suppressing propagation of sound to outdoor from a louver 4 of a building 2 includes: an upper ventilation passage 10 and a lower ventilation passage 20 which are provided on the indoor of the building 2, and constitute a ventilation passage of air supplied to indoor through the louver 4 from the outdoor; a sound absorption part 30 which is provided on the ventilation passage and is configured to absorb sound; and a reflection part 40 which is provided on the ventilation passage, and reflects the sound moving toward the louver 4 and guides the sound to the sound absorption part 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
