The present invention relates to a new structure of a water meter cover box to prevent a water meter from freezing while preventing a cover from being damaged due to the movement of the cover or preventing the entry of foreign substances or insects into the inside. In the water meter cover box according to the present invention, a rib (14b) of a sealing member (14) is in close contact with the inner surface of an edge portion (22) of a cover (20) so not only the cover (20) is supported not to flow, but also a gap generated between a main body (10) and the cover (20) is blocked when the cover (20) is coupled to the upper end of the main body (10). Therefore, the cover (20) is prevented from being damaged due to the movement of the cover (20) in the state where the cover (20) is coupled to the main body (10), or the infestation of insects is prevented into the inside of the cover box through the gap between the cover (20) and the main body (10). In addition, a water meter (1) is prevented from freezing as cold air in winter flows into the cover box.
본 발명은 덮개가 유동되어 손상되거나 내부로 이물질이나 해충이 유입되는 것을 방지하면서 수량계의 동파를 방지할 수 있도록 된 새로운 구조의 수량계용 보호통에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 수량계용 보호통은 덮개(20)를 상기 본체(10)의 상단에 결합하면, 상기 밀폐부재(14)의 리브(14b)가 상기 덮개(20)의 테두리부(22)의 내측면에 밀착되어, 덮개(20)가 유동되지 않도록 지지할 뿐 아니라, 본체(10)와 덮개(20)의 사이에 발생되는 틈을 막게 된다. 따라서, 덮개(20)가 본체(10)에 결합된 상태에서 덮개(20)가 유동되어 손상되거나, 덮개(20)와 본체(10) 사이의 틈을 통해 보호통의 내부로 해충이 유입되거나, 겨울철에 찬 공기가 보호통의 내부로 유입되어 수량계(1)가 동파되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
