Coupler for connecting reinforcing rod
The present invention relates to a coupler used to connect a pair of reinforcing bars to each other at a construction site. A hollow tightening nut with screw threads formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof is coupled to both ends of a hollow body with screw threads formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof. An inner diameter of the tightening nut becomes smaller towards an end of one side of the tightening nut. A hollow tightening part corresponding to the inner diameter of the tightening nut is inserted into the tightening nut on both sides of the body to tighten a reinforcing bar inserted into hollow spaces of the tightening nut and the tightening part by screwing the body and the tightening nut. The coupler for connecting reinforcing bars has a simple structure to facilitate manufacture, reduce manufacturing costs, and shorten coupling work time for connecting reinforcing bars.
본 발명은 건설현장에서 한 쌍의 철근을 서로 잇기 위해 사용되는 커플러에 관한 것으로서, 상기 커플러는 외주연에 나사산이 형성되어 있는 중공체 형상의 몸체의 양단으로 각각 내주연에 나사산이 형성되어 있는 중공체 형상의 조임너트가 체결되되, 상기 조임너트의 내부는 일측 단부로 갈수록 내경이 작아지게 형성되고, 상기 몸체의 양측 조임너트의 내부에는 조임너트의 내경에 대응하는 중공체 형상의 조임구가 삽입되어 있어, 몸체와 조임너트의 나사결합에 의해 조임너트와 조임구의 중공홀로 삽입된 철근을 조이는 것이 특징인 철근 이음용 커플러에 관한 것이다. 본 발명 철근 이음용 커플러는 구조가 간단하여 제작이 용이하고, 제작단가가 적게 들며, 철근을 잇는 체결작업 시간을 단축시킬 수 있다는 등의 현저한 효과가 있다.
