SILICON CARBIDE HIGH CARBON COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a silicon carbide high carbon-based composite material and a method of manufacturing the same, wherein the method comprises: a mixing/pulverizing step of mixing and pulverizing a carbon (C) material, a solvent and silicon carbide (SiC) to form a primary mixture; a binder introduction step of making a secondary mixture by mixing the primary mixture and a binder (plasticizer); a drying step of drying the secondary mixture using a spray dryer drying method to form granules; a molding step of molding the dried granules into a predetermined shape under normal pressure; a degreasing step of degreasing the molded granules; and a sintering step of mixing the degreased granules with a sintering aid to sinter at a high temperature in a vacuum to produce a composite material.
본 발명은 탄화규소 고 탄소계 복합재료 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 탄소(C) 소재와 용매 및 탄화규소(SIC)를 혼합 및 분쇄시켜 1차 혼합물을 만드는 혼합/분쇄 단계와, 1차 혼합물과 바인더(가소제)를 혼합시켜 2차 혼합물을 만드는 바인더 투입 단계와, 2차 혼합물을 스프레이 드라이어(spray dryer) 건조 방식을 이용해 건조시켜 과립(granule)을 만드는 건조 단계와, 건조된 상기 과립을 설정 형상으로 상압 성형하는 성형 단계와, 성형된 상기 과립을 탈지하는 탈지 단계 및, 탈지된 상기 과립과 소결 조제를 혼합시켜 진공 상태에서 고온 소성하여 복합소재를 제조하는 소결 단계를 포함한다.
