본 발명은 질화알루미늄 소결체끼리의 접합을 비교적 저온에서 성가신 가스를 발생시키는 일 없이 양호하게 안정적으로 행하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 발명의 제1 접합재 조성물은, 희토류 금속 산화물을 포함하는 질화알루미늄 소결체끼리를 접합할 때에 이용되는 접합재 조성물로서, O 원소를 포함하는 질화알루미늄 원료 외에, (a) 불소 화합물로서 알칼리토류 금속 불소 화합물 및 희토류 금속 불소 화합물 중 적어도 한쪽을 포함하거나, (b) 불소 화합물로서 알칼리토류 금속 불소 화합물 및 희토류 금속 불소 화합물 중 적어도 한쪽을 포함하고, 또한 희토류 금속 산화물을 포함하는 것이다.
