Disclosed is a winch for a belt rope-type telescopic mast to deploy a belt rope-type telescopic mast. According to the present invention, the winch for a belt rope-type telescopic mast comprises a drum assembly having a drum winding or unwinding a belt rope and gears transferring torque to the drum and a handle assembly receiving a force for rotating the drum. The handle assembly includes: a handle providing a grip surface to be gripped by an operator and receiving the force through the grip surface; a coupler transferring the force inputted through the handle as torque toward the drum assembly, and including a handle coupling body; and an arm allowing the handle to be rotatably coupled to one side thereof and having a coupler provided as a single object on the other side thereof. The arm consists of a fixed arm having the coupler and a movable arm having the handle to be moved relative to the fixed arm in the longitudinal direction of the arm to vary the distance between the handle which is a force input point and the coupler which is a force action point. The winch for a belt rope-type telescopic mast can quickly deploy a mast by shortening the length of the handle assembly (if lightweight equipment is loaded) or reduce the deployment burden on an equipment operator (if heavy equipment is loaded), whereas the deployment speed is relatively low by increasing the length of the handle assembly depending on the weight of equipment loaded on the upper end of the mast.
