METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING CEMENT USING CARBON DIOXIDE

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for producing cement using carbon dioxide. The method for manufacturing cement using carbon dioxide comprises the following steps: generating a calcium hydroxide solution by saturating calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)_2) in water; generating calcium carbonate (CaCO_3) by inserting carbon dioxide (CO_2) to the calcium hydroxide solution and generating a carbonization reaction; and generating cement by applying a sol-gel process to silicon oxide (SiO_2), aluminum oxide (Al_2O_3), and the calcium carbonate. Therefore, carbon dioxide generated in an existing cement manufacturing process can be controlled, and carbon dioxide can be reutilized by manufacturing cement using the carbon dioxide.

이산화탄소를 이용하여 시멘트를 제조하는 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 이산화탄소를 이용한 시멘트 제조 방법은, 수산화칼슘(Ca(OH))을 물에 포화시켜 수산화칼슘 수용액을 생성하는 단계와, 수산화칼슘 수용액에 이산화탄소(CO)를 주입하여 탄산화 반응을 일으켜 탄산칼슘(CaCO)을 생성하는 단계와, 산화규소(SiO), 산화알루미늄(AlO) 및 탄산칼슘에 졸-겔법을 적용하여 시멘트를 생성하는 단계를 포함한다. 따라서, 종래의 시멘트 제조 과정에서 발생하는 이산화탄소를 억제함과 동시에, 이산화탄소를 이용하여 시멘트를 제조함으로써 이산화탄소를 재활용할 수 있다.
