The present invention relates to a freeze preventing cover for a water meter. The freeze preventing cover for a water meter is easy to maintain and manufacture as heating pads are replaceable. In addition, the freeze preventing cover for a water meter is capable of improve an insulation effect as a heating line adheres to a water meter housing. An existing freeze preventing cover has problems of a complicated manufacturing process, an increase in manufacture cost, and the replacement of the cover in the case of a short circuit of a heating line as the heating line is installed inside the existing freeze preventing cover. To solve this, the present invention provides the freeze preventing cover for a water meter having a water meter cover having two body covers symmetrically connected to each other and an upper cover capable of being opened and closed to check a used amount of tap water in the upper parts of the body covers. The two heating pads symmetrically formed are connected to the inner surfaces of the body covers by connection units. Accordingly, the freeze preventing cover for a water meter is capable of being easily manufactured and saving manufacture cost as the heating pads where the heating line is attached to the front surface are joined to the inner surfaces of the body covers, an economical effect is obtained. In addition, an effect of facilitating the maintenance is obtained as the heating pads can be separated and replaced in the case of the short circuit of the heating line. Moreover, the insulation effect can be maximized as the heating line generates heat by directly adhering to the outer surface of the water meter housing.

본 발명은 발열패드를 교체할 수 있어 유지관리 및 제작이 용이하며 열선이 수도계량기 하우징에 밀착함으로써 보온효과를 높일 수 있는 수도계량기용 동파방지 커버에 관한 것이다. 종래의 동파방지 커버는 내측에 열선을 설치해야 하기 때문에 제조과정이 복잡하고 제작비용이 상승하며, 열선이 단선되면 커버를 교체해야 하는 문제점이 있는데, 이를 해결하기 위하여 본 발명은 두 개의 몸체커버가 서로 대칭으로 연결되며, 상기 몸체커버의 상측에는 수돗물 사용량을 확인할 수 있도록 개폐할 수 있는 상측커버가 구비된 수도계량기 커버가 구비되고, 상기 몸체커버의 내측 면에는 대칭으로 형성된 두 개의 발열패드가 연결부에 의해 연결되어 각각 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수도계량기용 동파방지 커버를 제공한다. 따라서 본 발명은 전면에 열선이 결합된 발열패드를 몸체커버의 내측 면에 결합함으로써 제작이 용이하고 제작비용을 절감할 수 있어 더욱 경제적인 효과가 있다. 또한, 열선이 단선되면 발열패드를 분리하여 교체할 수 있기 때문에 유리관리가 더욱 용이한 효과가 있으며, 열선이 수도계량기 하우징의 외측 면에 직접 밀착하여 발열하기 때문에 보온효과를 최대한 증대시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.
