The present invention relates to a cover for water meter freezing prevention which maximizes insulation efficiency in comparison to a conventional technique, is conveniently handled and fastened to a water meter to be stably installed by very simplified components, is easily identified from the outside to satisfy consumer needs from the aspect of use, and is easily handled and managed by a structure for easily discharging condensation or the like. The cover for water meter freezing prevention comprises: a first casing (10) having an insertion hole (11) accommodating a meter (1) therein and accommodation holes (12) corresponding to an upper and a lower space of the insertion hole; and a second casing (20) inserted into the upper and lower accommodation holes (12) of the first casing (10), having at least a plurality of restricting blocks (21) for restricting both ends of the meter by a curved inner surface thereof, and having a shape corresponding to the first casing (10). The second casing (20) further has an identification member (23) formed by multi-coupling of an insulating glass material by drilling a penetration hole (22) communicating with the outside.
본 발명은 기존 대비 보온의 효율성을 극대화하면서 극히 간소화된 구성만으로도 수도 계량기와의 체결성은 물론 보다 편리하게 취급할 수 있어 안정적인 설치가 가능하며, 외부에서의 식별력을 갖추어 사용 측면에서 소비자 니즈에 부합할 뿐 아니라 결로 등이 쉽게 배출될 수 있는 구조로 인해 취급 및 관리가 용이한 수도 계량기 동파 방지용 커버에 관한 것으로, 계량기(1)가 내부 수용되는 끼움홀(11) 및 끼움홀의 상하 공간으로 서로 대응하는 수용홀(12)이 형성되는 제1케이싱(10); 제1케이싱의 상하 수용홀(12)로 끼움 개재되면서 만곡된 내면에 의해 계량기 양단을 구속하기 위한 적어도 복수 개의 구속블록(21)이 형성되는 제1케이싱과 대응한 형상의 제2케이싱(20);을 포함하되, 위 제2케이싱(20)은 외부와 소통하는 관통홀(22)을 천공하여 보온 글라스 소재의 다중 결합으로 이루어진 식별부재(23)가 더 구성된다.
