PREPARATION METHOD OF CERAMIC MONOLITH STRUCTURE AND CERAMIC MONOLITH STRUCTURE THEREBY
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a ceramic monolith structure having a plurality of cells to form a passage of a fluid using a thin flat ceramic plate and a thin wave-shaped ceramic plate. The method includes the steps of: obtaining plastic clay by making paste of a molding source material including a ceramic source material and a plastic aid; forming the thin flat ceramic plate using the plastic clay, which has been obtained in the paste making process, through an extruder; making the thin wave-shaped plate having a furrow by putting the flat plate, which has been obtained in the flat ceramic plate forming process, between two rollers having grooves in order to form the fluid passage; cutting the thin flat and wave-shaped plates to a predetermined size and alternately stacking the plates to form a rectangular monolith structure, or rolling one thin flat plate and one thin wave-shaped plate to manufacture a cylindrical monolith structure; and drying and baking the manufactured monolith structure. According to the method of manufacturing the ceramic monolith structure, an extruder having a complex structure is not used, so the difficulty of manufacturing the extruder can be overcome, and the ceramic monolith structure having various sizes and various shapes can be easily manufactured. Accordingly, the size of the fluid passage can be easily controlled.
본 발명은 평판형 세라믹 박판과 파형의 세라믹 박판으로부터 유체의 유로를 이루는 복수의 셀을 갖는 세라믹 모노리스 구조체를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 세라믹 원료와 가공 조제를 포함하는 성형 원료를 반죽하여 배토를 얻는 단계; 반죽 공정에서 얻어진 배토를 압출성형기에 의해 평판형 세라믹 박판을 성형하는 단계; 평판형 세라믹 박판 제조 공정에서 얻어진 평판을 유체의 유로를 형성하기 위해 홈이 파인 두 개의 롤러 사이에 넣어 골이 형성된 파형 세라믹 박판을 제조하는 단계; 평판형 그리고 파형 세라믹 박판을 일정한 크기로 잘라 교차 적층하여 사각형태의 모노리스 구조체를 형성하거나, 평판형 박판 하나와 파형 박판 하나를 서로 말아서 원통형의 모노리스 구조체를 형성하는 단계; 및 제조한 모노리스 구조체를 건조하고, 소성시키는 단계;를 포함하며, 이러한 세라믹 모노리스 구조체의 제조 방법은 복잡한 구조의 압출 금형을 이용하지 않으므로 압출 금형의 제작에 따른 어려움을 해결하고 다양한 크기와 형태를 갖는 세라믹 모노리스 구조체를 용이하게 제작할 수 있으며, 유로 크기를 쉽게 제어할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

According to the method of manufacturing the ceramic monolith structure, an extruder having a complex structure is not used, so the difficulty of manufacturing the extruder can be overcome, and the ceramic monolith structure having various sizes and various shapes can be easily manufactured. Accordingly, the size of the fluid passage can be easily controlled.
