본 발명은, 천연의 앞니와 동등한 심미성 및 강도를 지니는 앞니용 의치로서 적합한 지르코니아 소결체를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 나아가, 본 발명은 각종의 자연 치아의 색조견본과 동등한 색조를 보이고, 또한, 천연의 앞니와 마찬가지의 심미성을 지니는 지르코니아 소결체를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이트리아를 4.0㏖% 초과 6.5㏖% 이하, 어비아를 0.25㏖% 미만, 산화철을 FeO환산으로 2000ppm 미만, 산화코발트를 CoO 환산으로 0.01중량% 미만 그리고 알루미나를 0.1중량% 미만 함유하는 지르코니아를 포함하되, 상대밀도가 99.90% 이상이고, 시료 두께 1.0㎜에 있어서의 600㎚ 파장의 광에 대한 전광선투과율이 25% 이상 40% 미만이며, 또한 강도가 500㎫ 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 착색 투광성 지르코니아 소결체를 제공한다.
An object of the present invention is to provide a zirconia sintered body suitable as a front tooth denture having aesthetics equivalent to those of a natural front tooth and strength. Another object of the present invention is to provide a zirconia sintered body having a color tone equivalent to the color tone guides of various natural teeth and having the same aesthetics as a natural front tooth. The present invention provides a colored translucent zirconia sintered body comprising zirconia containing greater than 4.0 mol% and not greater than 6.5 mol% of yttria, less than 0.25 mol% of erbia, less than 2,000 ppm of iron oxide in terms of Fe 2 O 3 , less than 0.01 wt.% of cobalt oxide in terms of CoO, and less than 0.1 wt.% of alumina; the zirconia sintered body having a relative density of not less than 99.90%, a total light transmittance of not less than 25% and less than 40% for light having a wavelength of 600 nm at a sample thickness of 1.0 mm, and a strength of not less than 500 MPa.
