The present invention provides sand for cats having a novel shape, in manufacturing sand for cats, which forms granular sand not in a powder state by passing through combining, mixing, rolling, drying, sorting and the like to minimize dust generated when using pet sand, to prevent various diseases caused by dust, and to be convenient for use and handlement of sand products at the same time. The present invention relates to granules having the size of 2-5 mm by mixing, kneading, rolling, and drying 20 wt% of sodium-based bentonite in the form of a 200 mash powder, 60 wt% of sodium-based bentonite in 1 to 2 mm granules, 5 wt% of calcium-based zeolite, 7 wt% of sawdust, 5 wt% of mineral water, and 3 wt% of baking soda as an additive.
본 발명은 고양이 모래를 제조함에 있어, 혼합, 믹싱, 롤링, 건조, 선별 등의 단계를 거쳐 분말상태가 아닌 입상의 모래형태를 이루도록 하여 애완용 모래 사용시 발생되는 분진을 최소화 하며, 분진에 의해 발생되는 각종 질병을 방지함과 동시에 모래 제품에 대한 사용에 대한 편리성과 취급이 용이하도록 한 새로운 형태의 고양이 모래를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 본 발명은 200메쉬(mash) 분말상태의 나트륨계 벤토나이트 20중량%와, 1~2mm 입상의 나트륨계 벤토나이트 60중량%와, 칼슘계 제올라이트 5중량%와, 톱밥 7중량%와, 미네랄수 5중량%와, 첨가제로 베이킹소다 3중량%를 혼합 및 반죽, 롤링, 건조시켜 2~5mm 크기의 입상으로 구성된 것이다.
