HIP METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING CERAMIC PARTS IN HOT ISOSTATIC PRESS USING ULTRASONICS
A method for forming a ceramic object from ceramic powder is provided. The ceramic powder is placed inside a press. The pressure is applied to the ceramic powder at a pressure that will cause consolidation of the ceramic powder. Ultrasonic energy is applied to the ceramic powder for at least a period of time to apply pressure to the ceramic powder, and the ceramic powder is formed into a ceramic object and the application of the pressure to the ceramic powder is terminated.
세라믹 파우더로부터 세라믹 물체를 형성하기 위한 방법이 제공된다. 세라믹 파우더는 프레스 내에 배치된다. 압력이 세라믹 파우더의 고형화 (consolidation) 를 유발할 압력으로 세라믹 파우더에 인가된다. 초음파 에너지가 적어도 세라믹 파우더로 압력을 인가하는 시간 기간 동안 세라믹 파우더에 인가되고, 세라믹 파우더를 세라믹 물체로 형성한다. 세라믹 파우더로 압력을 인가하는 것이 종료된다.
