Disclosed is an odor preventing device for a drainage hole, which is installed to cover an upper portion of the drainage hole formed to be exposed to the ground and to be communicated with an underground sewage pipe line, thereby draining rainwater, preventing bad smells generated from the sewage pipe line and the drainage hole from coming up overground, and effectively collecting foreign matters contained in the drained rainwater. The odor preventing device comprises: a cover of which edges are put on a support jaw formed on the inner circumferential surface of the top of the drain hole, and which has a rectangular through hole formed at the center thereof and an inverted isosceles triangle-shaped side plate formed downwardly from the front and rear edge sides of the through hole; a hinge shaft mounted to traverse in an orthogonal direction to the formation direction of the side plate from both bottom sides of the right and left edges of the through hole; a pair of right and left movable plates, which are forcedly fit to the hinge shaft, are mounted to be in contact with a bottom edge of the side plate, and are opened outwardly by weight of water when water flows into the through hole; a plurality of torsion springs, which is forcedly fit to the hinge shaft to provide an elastic force so that one end is supported to one side of the bottom surface of the movable plate and the other end is supported to the bottom surface of the cover to always keep a closed state of the movable plate; and a foreign matter collecting net which is put on the support jaw of the drainage hole corresponding to the underside of the cover and is forcedly fit to the inside of the lower portion of the drainage hole to collect foreign matters contained in the drained rainwater.

본 발명에서는 지하의 하수관로와 연통된 상태에서 지상으로 노출되게 형성된 배수구(排水口)의 상부에 덮여지게 설치되어 빗물이 배수될 수 있도록 함과 동시에 하수관로와 배수구 내부에서 발생된 악취가 지상으로 올라오는 것을 차단할 수 있도록 하는 한편, 배수되는 빗물에 포함된 이물질을 효과적으로 모아 수거할 수 있도록 한 새로운 배수구의 악취방지장치가 개시된다. 본 발명은 가장자리가 배수구의 상부 내주면에 형성된 받침턱에 얹혀지게 설치되며, 중심부에 사각의 관통공이 형성되고, 상기 관통공의 전후 가장자리면 아랫쪽으로 역(逆) 이등변삼각형 형상의 측면판이 고정되게 형성된 덮개와; 상기 관통공의 좌우 가장자리의 저면 양쪽에서 측면판의 형성방향과 직교하는 방향으로 가로질러 설치되는 힌지축과; 상기 힌지축에 끼워져 결합된 상태에서 상기 측면판의 아랫쪽 가장자리와 밀착되게 설치되며, 상기 관통공의 내측으로 물이 유입되는 경우에 물의 무게에 의하여 바깥쪽으로 벌어지면서 개방되는 좌우 한 쌍의 가동판과; 상기 힌지축에 끼워져 결합되며, 한 쪽 끝은 상기 가동판의 저면 일측에 지지되고, 다른 쪽 끝은 덮개의 저면에 지지되어 상기 가동판이 항상 닫혀진 상태로 유지되도록 탄성력을 부여하는 다수개의 토션스프링과; 상기 덮개의 아랫쪽에 해당되는 배수구의 받침턱에 얹혀진 상태에서 배수구의 하부 내측으로 끼워져 설치되며, 배수되는 빗물에 포함된 이물질을 수거할 수 있도록 하는 이물질수거망을 포함하여 구성된다.
