In general, a faucet enables cold water and hot water to run at the same time while controlling temperature of water. However, if a user does not turn off the faucet properly, water will continuously flow out, and if the user sleeps without check, water will continue to flow out all night. In order to prevent the above, public institutions are equipped with automatic faucets, but most apartments are equipped with faucets for turning off water. If water continues to flow out due to the user′s carelessness, water is wasted and water fees are increased. In order to solve such a problem, the faucet sensor mounted in the faucet senses a water wasted situation and automatically turns off the faucet even if the user does not turn off the faucet. According to the present invention, the faucet sensor can effectively reduce water waste and reduce water fees. The faucet sensor according to the present invention comprises: a sensor unit for sensing a flow of water; and an actuator unit for turning off the water through the sensor unit.
일반적으로 수도꼭지는 찬물과 더운물 이 두가지를 동시에 나오게 하여 온도를 조절하여 사용하는데, 사용자가 제대로 수도꼭지를 잠그지 않는다면 물은 그대로 나오게 될 것이고, 확인되지 않고 잠을 잔다면 밤새 수도꼭지에서 물은 계속 나올 것이다. 이를 막기 위하여 여러 공공기관에는 자동 수도꼭지가 있지만, 대부분의 아파트 수도꼭지는 물을 잠그는 형식의 수도꼭지이다. 사용자의 부주의로 인하여 그렇게 된다면 물은 물대로 낭비될 것이고, 수도세는 더욱 많이 나오게 될 것이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 사용자가 직접 물을 끄지 않아도 쓸데없이 물이 낭비되는 상황을 수도꼭지 속 센서가 파악해 스스로 물을 끄는 행동을 목적으로 한다. 이상과 같이 본 발명에 따르면 수도꼭지에서 나오는 물낭비와 수도세 낭비를 효율적으로 줄일 수 있다.
