In general, a faucet controls water temperature by allowing both hot and cold water to run, and if a user does not turn off the faucet completely, the water is going to drip and thus will continue to pour out overnight. Public buildings have already installed automatic faucet to prevent a water loss, but faucets used for residential apartments are mostly turn-on-and-off types. Carelessness of the user would result in waste of water and will ultimately lead to increase in water bills. An object of the present invention is to automatically turn the faucet off by a sensor provided in the faucet, even though a user does not turn it off. The present invention can reduce both waste of the water and the water bills significantly.
일반적으로 수도꼭지는 찬물과 더운물 이 두가지를 동시에 나오게 하여 온도를 조절하여 사용하는데, 사용자가 제대로 수도꼭지를 잠그지 않는다면 물은 그대로 나오게 될 것이고, 확인되지 않고 잠을 잔다면 밤새 수도꼭지에서 물은 계속 나올 것이다. 이를 막기 위하여 여러 공공기관에는 자동 수도꼭지가 있지만, 대부분의 아파트 수도꼭지는 물을 잠그는 형식의 수도꼭지이다. 사용자의 부주의로 인하여 그렇게 된다면 물은 물대로 낭비될 것이고, 수도세는 더욱 많이 나오게 될 것이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 사용자가 직접 물을 끄지 않아도 쓸데없이 물이 낭비되는 상황을 수도꼭지 속 센서가 파악해 스스로 물을 끄는 행동을 목적으로 한다. 이상과 같이 본 발명에 따르면 수도꼭지에서 나오는 물낭비와 수도세 낭비를 효율적으로 줄일 수 있다.
