Transparency variable device and smart window using the same
Provided are a simple structure of transmittance variable element with high reliability and a smart window using the same. The transmittance variable element comprises: a transmittance variable layer including a transparent dispersion medium in which transparent particles are dispersed, wherein the transmittance of incident light varies according to a distance of the transparent particles in the transparent dispersion medium; and a first transparent substrate placed on one side of the transmittance variable layer, and a second transparent substrate disposed on the other side.
간단한 구조의 신뢰성 높은 투과도 가변소자 및 이를 이용한 스마트 윈도우가 제안된다. 본 발명에 따른 투과도 가변소자는 투명입자가 분산되어 있는 투명분산매질을 포함하고, 투명분산매질 내에서 투명입자의 거리에 따라 입사광의 투과도가 변화되는 투과도 가변층; 및 투과도 가변층의 일면에 위치한 제1투명기판 및 타면에 위치한 제2투명기판;을 포함한다.
