SEMI-INCOMBUSTIBLE HONEYCOMB COMPOSITE AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a semi-incombustible honeycomb composite, and a method for manufacturing the same. The semi-incombustible honeycomb composite comprises: a first reinforcement; a honeycomb core made of paper positioned above the first reinforcement; a coating layer positioned above the honeycomb core and having a semi-incombustible coating composition; and a second reinforcement positioned above the coating layer. A semi-incombustible coating composition comprises: soluble silicate; expanded graphite; and an inorganic substance having aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, ultracarb, diatomite, or a combination thereof.

The present invention relates to a semi-incombustible honeycomb composite, and a method for manufacturing the same.
