According to the present invention, an apparatus for connecting steel pipes comprises: a pin joint including a first stopping unit, a first uneven unit, and a first groove formed on an outer surface thereof in a circumferential direction; a box joint including a second stopping unit, a second uneven unit, and a second groove forming a circumferential groove with the first groove when coupled to the pin joint; and a first shear connection member coupled to the circumferential groove to restrict an axial relative movement of the pin joint and the box joint. When the pin joint and the box joint are coupled, the first stopping unit is inserted into the second uneven unit, and the second stopping unit is inserted into the first uneven unit to restrict a radial relative movement of the pin joint and the box joint. A first elastic body is inserted into a first accommodation groove arranged on the first uneven unit. A first pressing unit protruding from the first stopping unit presses and seals the elastic body during construction. A second elastic body is inserted into a second accommodation groove arranged on the second stopping unit. A second pressing unit protruding from the second uneven unit presses and seals the elastic body during construction.
본 발명에 따른 강관 연결장치는 제1 걸림부와 제1 요철부가 마련되고, 외면에 원주 방향으로 형성된 제1 홈을 구비하는 핀 조인트, 제2 걸림부와 제2 요철부가 마련되고, 핀 조인트에 체결 시 제1 홈과 함께 원주홈을 형성하는 제2 홈을 구비하는 박스 조인트, 및 원주홈에 체결되어 핀 조인트와 박스 조인트의 축방향 상대 이동을 구속하는 제1 전단열결재를 포함하고, 핀 조인트와 박스 조인트의 결합 시 제1 걸림부는 제2 요철부에 끼워지고, 제2 걸림부는 제1 요철부에 끼워져, 핀 조인트와 박스 조인트의 반경 방향 상대 이동을 구속하고, 제1 요철부에 마련되는 제1 수용홈에는 제1 탄성체가 삽입되고, 제1 걸림부에서 돌출되는 제1 가압부는 시공 시 탄성체을 가압하여 실링하고, 제2 걸림부에 마련되는 제2 수용홈에는 제2 탄성체가 삽입되고, 제2 요철부에서 돌출되는 제2 가압부는 시공 시 탄성체를 가압하여 실링할 수 있다.
