The present invention relates to a space-saving type stair apparatus and an operation method thereof, wherein a drive unit installed to be horizontal to a floor is connected to a stair unit. Accordingly, a stair installed for access to the inside of a building is present in a stair shape when in use, and is moved into a stair box in an unused stair shape when the stair is not in use to save a space. Moreover, the space enables the disabled, strollers, and the elderly to be lifted up onto a platform by using a lift, thereby minimizing an economical loss and increasing living convenience. Therefore, a narrow space can be efficiently used.
본 발명은 건물 내부로 출입하기 위해 설치되는 계단을 바닥과 수평하도록 설치된 구동부와 계단부를 연결하여 계단을 사용할때는 계단 형태로 존재하고, 계단을 사용하지 않을때에는 계단 미사용 형태로 계단이 계단함 안쪽으로 이동하여 공간을 절약하고 그 공간에서 리프트 등을 활용하여 장애우, 유모차, 노약자 들이 단상에 오르도록 할 수 있어 경제적 손실을 최소화하고 생활의 편리성을 향상시킬 수 있어 협소한 공간을 효율적으로 활용 하는데 이바지할 수 있는 공간 절약형 계단 장치 및 그 작동방법을 제공하고자 한다.
