The present invention relates to a floating matter removal apparatus. A suction pump exposed through a penetration hole and a filter device unit connected to the suction pump by a supply pipe are installed on an upper surface of a floating plate, and a discharge pipe is installed on a lower portion of the filter device unit to simultaneously suck water and floating matters by the suction pump to supply the water and the floating matters into the filter device unit through the supply pipe. The floating matters are filtered out by the filter device unit and then the water is discharged to the outside through the discharge pipe to remove the floating matters drifting on a water surface. An objective of the present invention is to allow the floating matter removal apparatus to remove floating matters or green algae drifting on a water surface while drifting on the water surface, Water and floating matters are simultaneously sucked to the filter device unit at a predetermined suction pressure by the suction pump to eliminate concern for floating matters getting caught in the supply pipe.
