METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GEOPOLYMER USING METAKAOLIN
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a geopolymer with improved compression strength of the geopolymer using metakaolin by introducing a pre-curing process of leaving a sample at room temperature before curing the same at high temperature. The method comprises the following steps: (a) mixing metakaolin and an alkali activating agent and preparing a dough sample; (b) pre-curing a molded body of filling the dough sample in a mold at 23-25°C; (c) curing the molded body in a dryer at 70-80°C for 24 hours; and (d) demolding the molded body after the step (c) and aging the same at 23-25°C.
고온 양생 전에 상온에서 시편을 방치하는 전양생(pre-curing) 과정을 도입하여 메타카올린을 이용한 지오폴리머의 압축 강도를 개선시킨 지오폴리머 제조 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명은 (a) 메타카올린과 알칼리 활성화제를 혼합하여 반죽 시료를 만드는 단계; (b) 상기 반죽 시료를 금형에 충진한 성형체를 23~25℃에서 전양생(pre-curing)하는 단계; (c) 상기 (b) 단계를 거친 상기 성형체를 70~80℃의 건조기에서 24시간 양생하는 단계; 및 (d) 상기 (c) 단계 후 상기 성형체를 탈형하여 23~25℃에서 재령(aging)하는 단계;를 포함하는 메타카올린을 이용한 지오폴리머 제조방법을 제공한다.
