The present invention relates to a flame retardant for a sandwich panel. According to the present invention, in a sandwich panel comprising an insulation material having a greater horizontal length than a vertical height and a metal plate fixed on both surfaces of the insulation material, a flame moving prevention member is installed on the horizontal surface of the sandwich panel to prevent flames from moving to the insulation material of other adjacent sandwich panels. Accordingly, the flame moving prevention member immersed in an aqueous primer mixed with a flame retardant is installed on the horizontal and vertical surfaces of the sandwich panel, thereby providing an effect of preventing flames from moving or transferring to other adjacent sandwich panels. Combustion of other adjacent sandwich panels is delayed for a long time, thereby providing an effect of delaying the spread of a fire. Moreover, the generation of hazardous gas caused by rapid combustion of the insulation material is delayed and reduced, thereby providing an effect of largely decreasing the mortality rate of an accident due to the hazardous gas.
샌드위치 패널용 방염재에 관한 것으로, 수직 길이에 비하여 수평 길이가 길게 형성되는 단열재와 상기 단열재의 양면에 각각 고정되는 금속판재로 이루어진 샌드위치 패널에 있어서, 상기 샌드위치 패널의 수평면에는 인접한 다른 샌드위치 패널의 단열재로 화염의 이동을 차단하도록 설치되는 화염이동방지부재;를 마련하여 소화약제가 혼합된 수성 프라이머를 침지된 화염이동방지부재를 샌드위치 패널의 수평면 및 수직면에 각각 설치함으로써 인접한 다른 샌드위치 패널로 화염의 이동 또는 전이를 방지할 수 있고, 인접한 다른 샌드위치 패널의 연소를 장시간 지연시켜 줌으로써 화재의 확산을 지연시킬 수 있으며, 단열재의 급속한 연소로 인해 유독가스의 발생을 지연시킴과 함께 감소시켜 유독가스로 인한 인명사고를 대폭 줄일 수 있다는 효과가 얻어진다.
