Provided are a drive apparatus and a working machine, which can effectively discharge foreign matter, such as soil, and the like, which has entered a seal unit between a fixation case and a rotation case. The drive apparatus (10) comprises: the fixation case (20) having fixation side seal surfaces (21, 22); and the rotation case (30) rotatable around an axial line A with respect to the fixation case (20), and having rotation side seal surfaces (31, 32) facing the fixation side seal surfaces (21, 22) along the axial direction. At least one side of the fixation side seal surfaces (21, 22) and the rotation side seal surfaces (31, 32) has a convex portion (40).
고정 케이스와 회전 케이스의 사이의 시일부에 들어간 토사 등의 이물을 효과적으로 배출할 수 있는 구동 장치 및 작업 기계를 제공한다. 구동 장치(10)는, 고정측 시일면(21, 22)을 갖는 고정 케이스(20)와, 고정 케이스(20)에 대해서 축선 A 주위로 회전 가능하고, 축선 방향 da를 따라 고정측 시일면(21, 22)과 서로 대면하는 회전측 시일면(31, 32)을 갖는 회전 케이스(30)를 구비하고, 고정측 시일면(21, 22) 및 회전측 시일면(31, 32)의 적어도 한쪽이 볼록부(40)를 갖는다.
