ARTICLE STORAGE FACILITY AND METHOD OF CONTORLLING ARTICLE TRANSPORTATION
The present invention relates to an article storage facility and a method of controlling article transportation. In accordance with the present invention, the article storage facility comprises: a first transportation mechanism which includes a storage room which has a first storage spot for storing a first article and a second storage spot for storing the first article, and a first support unit configured to support and transport the first article, and which is configured to transport the first article between each of the first storage spot and the second storage spot and a first support spot in which the first article is supported by the first support unit; a second transportation mechanism which includes a second support unit configured to support and transport the first article, and which is configured to transport the first article between each of the first storage spot and the second storage spot and a second support spot in which the first article is supported by the second support unit; and a controller which is configured to control the transportation of the first article. The present invention aims to provide an article storage facility and a method of controlling article transportation, which are able to increase the maximum number of articles which can be stored.

The present invention relates to an article storage facility and a method of controlling article transportation.
