The present invention discloses a basalt powder sludge block for rock wool, which contains 75 ~ 95wt% of basalt powder sludge, 3 ~ 10wt% of pre-gelatinized starch, and 8 ~ 15wt% of water and is a block obtained by mixing these components and then compressing and curing them, wherein the compressive strength of the basalt powder sludge block is more than 7 MPa. The basalt fibers can be obtained by putting a block of basalt powder sludge into a melting furnace and spinning. According to the present invention, it is possible to manufacture high-quality basalt fiber which can be used as an insulating material by utilizing basalt powder sludge, which is an industrial waste, and provides a new material while reducing environmental pollution, greatly improving the industrial value of waste resources.
본 발명은 현무암 석분슬러지 75 ~ 95wt%, 호화전분 3 ~ 10wt%, 물 8 ~ 15wt% 를 포함하며, 이들 성분을 혼합한 후 압축 성형하여 양생시킨 블럭으로서, 현무암 석분슬러지 블럭의 압축 강도는 7 MPa 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 암면용 현무암 석분슬러지 블럭을 제안하며. 현무암 석분슬러지 블럭을 용융로에 투입하여 방사함으로써 현무암 섬유를 얻을 수 있다. 본 발명에 따르면, 산업폐기물인 현무암 석분슬러지를 활용하여 단열재 등으로 활용할 수 있는 고품질 현무암 섬유를 제조할 수 있으며, 환경 오염을 줄이면서 새로운 소재를 제공하여 폐자원의 산업적 가치를 크게 향상시킨다.
