The present invention relates to a locking device for a sliding window. In accordance with the present invention, the locking device for a sliding window, which is installed between a window frame having a plurality of rails and a sliding window slid along the rails of the window frame to lock or unlock the sliding window, includes: a striker having a coupling piece projected toward the sliding window to be fixed and installed between the plurality of rails of the window frame; a housing having an insertion groove part formed on a side opposed to the striker, into which the coupling piece is inserted, to be fixed to the sliding window; a handle placed on the front side of the housing to be movable in a direction parallel with a sliding direction of the sliding window; and a hook member placed in the housing to be interoperated with the handle to lock or unlock the coupling piece in accordance with the moving position of the handle.
본 발명은 미닫이창용 잠금장치에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따른 미닫이창용 잠금장치는 복수의 레일이 형성된창틀프레임과 창틀프레임의 레일을 따라 슬라이딩하는 미닫이창 사이에 설치되어 미닫이창을 잠금 또는 잠금해제하는 미닫이창용 잠금장치에 있어서, 미닫이창을 향해 체결편이 돌출 형성되어 상기 창틀프레임의 복수의 레일사이에 고정설치되는 스트라이커;와, 상기 스트라이커와 대향하는 면에 상기 체결편이 삽입되는 삽입홈부가 형성되어 상기 미닫이창에 고정되는 하우징;과, 상기 미닫이창의 슬라이딩 방향과 나란한 방향으로 이동 가능하도록 하우징의 전면에 배치되는 손잡이; 및, 상기 하우징의 내부에 배치되어 손잡이의 이동위치에 따라 손잡이와 연동하여 상기 체결편을 구속 또는 구속해제하는 후크부재;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
