Apparatus and method for providing road manhole information
Provided are a device and method for automatically recognizing road manhole information. The device for automatically recognizing road manhole information includes: a camera which captures the front of a vehicle in real time and creates a front road surface image; an acceleration sensor which senses the 3-axis acceleration of the vehicle and outputs 3-axis acceleration data; a location sensor which provides vehicle location information; and a processor which analyzes the front road surface image created by the camera to select a candidate manhole frame including a manhole, collects the 3-axis acceleration data of the vehicle using the selected candidate manhole frame as a trigger, and converts the collected 3-axis acceleration data to analyze whether the manhole is level or not. Therefore, it is possible to collect data more accurately and quickly by using a front road surface image and acceleration data as basic data to identify the condition of the manhole on a road.
도로 맨홀 정보 자동 인지 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 도로 맨홀 정보 자동 인지 장치는 주행 중인 차량의 전방을 실시간으로 촬영하여 전방 노면 영상을 생성하는 카메라, 차량의 3축 가속도를 센싱하여 3축 가속도데이터를 출력하는 가속도 센서, 차량의 위치 정보를 제공하는 위치 센서, 카메라에서 생성되는 전방 노면 영상을 분석하여 맨홀을 포함하는 후보 맨홀 프레임을 선별하고, 선별되는 후보 맨홀 프레임을 트리거로 이용하여 차량의 3축 가속도데이터를 수집하고, 수집된 3축 가속도데이터를 분석하여 맨홀의 단차 여부를 분석하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
