According to the present invention, a manufacturing method of a molded product using coffee grounds comprises: a drying step of drying coffee grounds; a filtering step of filtering the coffee grounds dried through the drying step; a coffee grounds mixing step of mixing the coffee grounds filtered through the filtering step with a gypsum mixture; and a molding step of putting the mixture prepared through the coffee grounds mixing step into a mold and molding a product. The molded product manufactured through the process is eco-friendly because discarded coffee grounds are reused, and the molded product exhibits excellent mechanical properties. Accordingly, the molded product can be used for various purposes such as a flower pot, candle container, interior accessories, incense holder, and cell phone holder.
본 발명에 따른 커피찌꺼기를 이용한 성형품의 제조방법은 커피찌꺼기를 건조하는 건조단계, 상기 건조단계를 통해 건조된 커피찌꺼기를 채거름하는 채거름단계, 석고 혼합물에 상기 채거름단계를 통해 채거름된 커피찌꺼기를 혼합하는 커피찌꺼기혼합단계 및 상기 커피찌꺼기혼합단계를 통해 제조된 혼합물을 몰드에 투입하고 성형하는 성형단계로 이루어진다. 상기의 과정을 통해 제조되는 성형품은 폐기처리되는 커피찌꺼기를 재사용하기 때문에 친환경적이며, 우수한 기계적 물성을 나타내어 화분, 캔들용기, 인테리어 소품, 인센스 홀더 및 휴대폰 거치대 등과 같은 다양한 용도로 활용될 수 있는 성형품을 제공한다.
