The present invention relates to a piping coupler and, in particular, to a piping coupler that allows convenient operation of the supply and cutoff of water supplied from a water pipe by left and right opening and closing operations. The piping coupler comprises: a valve body equipped with a water flow part to allow water to flow; an opening/closing member located inside the valve body to supply and shut off water; and an opening/closing lever for opening and closing the opening/closing member. The opening/closing member comprises: a rotating body with a through hole penetrated inside; an opening/closing plate provided with a locking groove on the outer periphery thereof so that a locking protrusion provided on the rotating body can be caught and a recessed groove part so that only a portion of the through hole can be opened; a blocking body provided with a water penetration hole to block the flow of water by communicating with and crossing the recessed groove part depending on the rotational position of the water penetration hole at the front end of the opening/closing plate; and an opening/closing lever having a rotating tube body covered on the outer periphery of the rotating body to rotate the opening/closing plate coupled thereto.
본 발명은 배관용 커플러에 관한 것으로, 특히 수도관으로부터 공급되는 물의 급,단수를 좌,우 개폐 조작에 의해 편리하게 조작할 수 있도록 한 배관용 커플러에 관한 것으로서, 이는 물이 흐를수 있도록 물흐름부를 갖춘 밸브몸체와, 상기 밸브몸체의 내부에 위치하여 물의 급,단수를 수행하는 개폐부재 및 상기 개폐부재의 개폐를 수행하는 개폐레버로 구성된 배관용 커플러에 있어서, 상기 개폐부재는 내부가 관통된 관통구를 갖춘 회동체와; 상기 회동체에 갖추어진 걸림돌기가 걸릴 수 있도록 외주연에 걸림홈을 갖춘 상태에서 관통구의 일부분만이 개방될 수 있도록 요입홈부를 갖춘 개폐판과; 상기 개폐판의 선단면에는 이의 회동 위치에 따라 요입홈부와 연통 및 교차에 의해 물의 흐름을 차단시켜 줄 수 있도록 물관통구를 갖춘 차단체와; 상기 회동체의 외주연에 씌워져 이와 결합된 개폐판을 회동시켜 줄 수 있도록 회전관체를 갖춘 개폐레버로 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
