POTTERY RELIEVO METHOD USING CLAY STRING
The present invention relates to a pottery relievo technique which attaches a clay string to a surface of a ceramic to have relievo patterns. The technique comprises the steps of: using a molding clay to make a shape of a ceramic; having the molding clay as a main element to make a plurality of clay strings with a predetermined thickness; attaching the plurality of pottery string to a surface of the ceramic to form a relievo pattern; applying engobe on a surface of the pattern to color the same; biscuit-firing the ceramic; coating a glaze on the surface of the biscuit-fired ceramic while the glaze on the surface of the pattern is removed; painting one or more pigments on the surface of the pattern to additionally color the same; and firing the ceramic again. Accordingly, the technique can express dynamic properties and orientation through a string-pattern relievo as well as a 3D effect from the relievo itself.
본 발명은 흙줄을 도자기 표면에 붙여 부조 형식으로 무늬를 입히는 도자 부조 기법에 관한 것으로서, 조형토를 이용하여 도자기의 형태를 만드는 단계와; 조형토를 주성분으로 하여 일정한 굵기를 갖는 다수의 흙줄을 만드는 단계와; 상기 도자기의 표면에 상기 다수의 흙줄을 붙여 부조의 문양을 형성하는 단계와; 상기 문양의 표면에 화장토를 발라 색상을 입히는 단계와; 상기 도자기를 초벌구이 하는 단계와; 상기 초벌구이된 도자기의 표면에 유약을 바르되 상기 문양의 표면에 묻은 유약은 닦아내는 단계와; 상기 문양의 표면에 하나 이상의 안료를 발라 색상을 덧입히는 단계; 및 상기 도자기를 재벌구이 하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이로부터, 부조 자체의 입체감은 물론 줄무늬 부조를 통한 역동성과 방향성을 표현할 수 있다.
