VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY WITH BACK-UP MECHANISM
The present invention relates to a vehicle door handle assembly (1) including a handle grip (3), which may provide a cost-effective and space-saving solution. The handle grip (3) may be movable between a flush position in which the handle grip (3) is matched with the same surface as an external door panel surface and a preparation position in which the handle grip (3) protrudes to be gripped by a user. A back-up mechanism includes a flap (5) at least partially covering a hollow disposed inside the handle grip (3). The flap (5) may be movable between a closing position that covers the hollow inside the handle grip (3) and an opening position that allows access into the hollow and then allows the user to insert the user's finger or object into the hollow to pull out the handle grip (3) for moving the handle grip (3) from the flush position to the preparation position.
