Provided are a vehicle parking robot and a vehicle parking method. According to an aspect of the present invention, the vehicle parking robot, which lifts a vehicle with first wheels from the ground and parks the same in a parking space, comprises: a first body including a first rail, a first front fork moving along the first rail, a first rear fork moving along the first rail, and first electric wheels providing driving force; a first camera photographing the first wheels to collect first photography information; and a first control unit recognizing the first wheels from the first photography information and controlling the first front fork, the first rear fork, and the first electric wheels. Therefore, the vehicle parking robot can park a vehicle regardless of the type of vehicle.
