The invention relates to a device (1) for damping railway tracks (3) from heat and wind, comprising at least one heat damping unit (5) for assembling on a railway track (3), said damping unit having at least one rail web damping element (501) and at least one rail base damping element (503) lying parallel to one another, the heat damping unit (5) at least partly covering the rail base (301) and the rail web (303) along the railway track (3). The device also comprises at least one wind damping unit (7), which is arranged on the outside of the heat damping unit (5) by means of at least one securing device (9), said wind damping unit having at least two wind deflector elements (701, 703) which are substantially vertically aligned and which are secured to a base (705) and extend vertically in opposite directions. The vertically upper wind deflector element (701) protrudes over the height of the rail head (305), and the vertically lower wind deflector element (703) protrudes below the level of the rail base (301). The securing device (9) has a securing bracket (901) for fixing the heat damping unit (5) and the wind damping unit (7) to the railway track (3), and has a mounting (903) for the wind damping unit (7). The wind damping unit (7) is arranged at a horizontal distance (A) from the heat damping unit (5) and is aligned substantially parallel to the railway track (3) by means of the securing device (9).

The wind damping unit (7) is arranged at a horizontal distance (A) from the heat damping unit (5) and is aligned substantially parallel to the railway track (3) by means of the securing device (9).
